Smith staying open

Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass is annually one of the top prospect producing schools in the South. This year is no different and one of the top players on board is wide receiver Greg Smith, who has now set his third official visit.
“I am still planning on taking my official visit to Connecticut this weekend,” Smith said. “In two weeks I will take my official visit to Georgia Tech. I am also planning on taking an official visit to Duke and I think it is going to be January 7, but that date is not set in stone.”

Smith checks in at about 6-foot-2.5 and weighs 190 pounds. Smith has an impressive 40-yard dash time at 4.5 seconds. He also has a 225-pound bench press, 405-pound squat and a 38-inch vertical jump.
“I am looking at trying to take visits to Clemson, Auburn, North Carolina and there are a couple of others I’m thinking about too,” Smith said. “I really don’t have a leader, I just want to take all of my visits right now.”
As a junior Smith caught 35 passes for right at 600 yards and scored six touchdowns.
