Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain offensive lineman Connor Smith, a Buckeye commitment since the end of July, made his official visit to Ohio State this weekend.
"I loved it," Smith said. "I had a lot of fun. I got to do a lot of things.
"I had a great time with the players. I had a lot of time to sit down with the coaches. I learned the in's and out's."
Smith said the OSU coaches have not been too specific as to exactly where he will play on the Buckeyes' offensive line.
"They said it could be anywhere," Smith said. "They said you have to know all the positions."
The 6-foot-6 and 300-pound Smith is the No. 3 offensive tackle prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Ohio.
"My goal is to go up there and compete," Smith said. "Things will work out. I'll just go up ther and compete and do the best I can."
