Smalls definitely thinking Maryland

Wide receiver Stephen Smalls has been a varsity starter for Lancaster (Pa.) Conestoga Valley since his sophomore year. Smalls caught close to 20 passes and scored three times that season.
The 6-foot-2 and 180 pound Smalls established himself as a major college prospect by catching close to 40 passes, averaging over 20 yards per catch, and scoring nine times during his junior season.
Smalls, who was an all-league selection, has run a 10.63 100 meters in track. His GPA is close to the 2.0 mark.
"Right now my favorites are Maryland, Michigan State, Michigan, Virginia Tech, and Indiana," Smalls said. "Maryland is one of the top choices."
"I've been to a junior day at Maryland. It was good. I really like Maryland a lot. Our quarterback last season, Jordan Steffy, signed with Maryland. Through him I've built a relationship with the coaches."
"I'll definitely go the the Virginia NIKE Camp and maybe the Penn State one."
