Small meets old friends on official visit

Four star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville wide receiver Ray Small, who made an official visit to USC in September, visited Ohio State this weekend. Small talks about the OSU visit and how it compared to his trip to California.
"It was great," Small said of his visit with the Buckeyes. "It was a great experience.
"I liked the academic programs. And (the visit) gave me an opportunity to meet all the coaches."

A former high school teammate was Small's host while he was in Columbus.
"Jamario O'Neal showed me around," Small said. "I learned a lot.
"Ohio State has a coach for everything, running, training, nutrition, everything."
Small plans to take two more trips.
"I have Tennessee next weekend," he said. "And Michigan State Dec. 16. Michigan State will probably be it."
When asked if he has a favorite, Small said, "Ohio State and USC are still my two favorites."
Which visit did Small like better?
"I could say Ohio State, but they are pretty much the same," Small said. "But I could say Ohio State because I know a lot of people there. But the USC visit was nice too."
The 5-foot-10 and 173 pound Small is the No. 7 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Ohio.
