Small announces commitment to Ohio State

Though Cleveland Glenville wide receiver Ray Small told BuckeyesSports.com over a week ago that he was going to the same school as Robert Rose (Ohio State), Small had also said he would wait till signing day to officially announce he was a Buckeye.
However Small decided to speed up the official process in telling the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he would indeed sign with Ohio State.

The 5-foot10 and 173-pound Small joins Euclid linebacker Thaddeus Gibson as the lastest to pick the Buckeyes.
Small, who made official visits to Ohio State, USC, Michigan State, and Tennessee, had scholarship offers from those schools as well as many others before announcing his decision to play for Jim Tressel.
Small caught 28 passes for 842 yards during his senior season. He also rushed for 33 yards, had 440 special team yards, and scored 16 times. He played cornerback as well.
Small is the No. 7 wide receiver and the No. 5 overall prospect in the state of Ohio in the Rivals.com player rankings.
