Slocum racking up offers

One of the best all-purpose backs in the Golden State for the class of 2006 is Tracy Slocum (5-10, 185, 4.5) from Clovis (Calif.) East. Not only does Slocum get the job done running the football but he is also a threat to catch the ball.
Slocum rushed for approximately 1,800 yards and scored 22 touchdowns with a long run of 96 yards. As a receiver out of the backfield Slocum caught 20 passes for 300 yards and five more touchdowns.

Slocum's junior season performance saw him earn first-team all-state underclassman, second-team all-state all classifications, first-team all-league, first-team all-area, first-team all-city and first-team all-section.
That's not all.
Slocum also section and league Player of the Year, plus he was Mr. Central Valley his gridiron exploits. Not a bad day at the office.
Currently Slocum has offers on the table from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Washington State and Fresno State.
USC, UCLA and Oklahoma are drawing close to offering the talented running back a scholarship.
Slocum has great vision and he gets down hill in a hurry. Nothing fancy about Slocum, he gets the job done. When he gets in the open field you can forget about it, he's house bound.
"I'm pretty open regarding my college choices," Slocum said. "I want to go to a school with a good tradition."
"I'm also looking for a school where I can come in and make an impact," Slocum said. "Academics are also very important to me. I want to get a good education."
"A good coaching staff will also be important," Slocum said. "Because I want to go to a school where can become the best I can be."
