Slocum pulls the trigger
It was a two team race for Clovis East (Calif.) running back Tracy Slocum. The talented ball carrier narrowed his choices down to Cal and UCLA but as expected, announced moments ago that he'll be a Golden Bear.
Slocum, 5-10, 185 pounds was injured this past year and missed half the season after being named a Student Sports Junior All-American last season. The athlete took official visits to Arizona State, Cal and UCLA and made his decision at a press conference at his high school.
