Slight Leader For DE
Chesapeake (Va.) Deep Creek defensive end Darryl Tapp still has the same two favorites but has yet to set up both of his official visits. He's also named a slight favorite.
“I’m still going to Florida on January 11th,” said the 6-foot-2, 215-pound rush end. “I might take my visit to Virginia Tech the week after that or maybe in December. Vtech and Florida are still my two favorites.”

Tapp said that Clemson and Maryland are also coming on strong and he also enjoyed a recent trip to Virginia. However, until someone else offers, he’ll stick with the Hokies and Gators.
“Both teams have great defenses and are good schools,” he said. “They also rush the passer with their ends. Virginia Tech might have the edge because of location but I can’t wait to see Florida.”
Tapp has 15 sacks this season.
