Sleeper WR is emerging at Anson

Wadesboro (N.C.) Anson is home to one of the top prospects in the nation in linebacker Stephone Anthony. The school may have another prospect to watch on the other side of the ball, an emerging wide receiver for the 2011 class.
"I'm getting interest from Duke, East Carolina and Elon, that's about it," wide receiver Jonathan Hough said. "Duke has sent me a lot of mail and they seem to like me pretty good. I haven't heard too much more yet.

"The other schools are sending me flyers here and there."
Hough has largely gone under the radar as he only camped at one school this summer, East Carolina.
"I'm just looking for a school where I feel wanted," he said. "I want to feel like they need me on their team and somewhere with good competition."
Hough claims a solid 3.0 GPA.
The 6-foot-1, 188-pounder is coming off an impressive junior season last year which earned him all-conference honors after posting 45 receptions for 781-yards and five scores.
"I think my work ethic sticks out, I go hard every day to try to get better," he said. "I definitely want to work on my speed this year, I've got to get a lot faster and I want to work on my route running and blocking more."
