Sleeper Virginia RB is rising up college boards

One of the lesser known prospects in the state of Virginia is 5-foot-10, 196-pound running back A.J. Williams. The Fluvanna County, Va. prospect continues to garner major interest from the ACC and Big East so far.
"He's getting letters from North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Duke, Virginia, Maryland, Syracuse and a lot of other people," Fluvanna County head coach Joel Gray said. "Right now it's hard to say how serious the schools are since we're sending out tapes, but I expect him to climb the list of offers after going head to head with D.J. Coles last year."

Gray claims there are no leaders for the running back that accounted for nearly 1,800 yards of offense and 10 touchdowns last season on his way to first team all-Jefferson honors.
The Fluvanna County coach went on to discuss what stands out about his talented tailback.
"We use him in a one back shotgun spread and he's without a doubt the hardest working kid I've been around in 18 years," he stated. "I've seen some great ones at Hampton when I was there, but A.J. has a tremendous work ethic and lives in the weight room.
"He's got great vision too and knows how to take care of the football. He makes cuts at full speed and is very elusive. He's also got great lateral quickness.
"He is a very good football player, but he's an even better person. This whole community thinks the world about him and is a good student. I think his best days are ahead of him."
