Sleeper to take trip

There is a sleeper from Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure who is beginning to get on the recruiting radar from some smaller schools. This player looks like he will be another one from Saint Bonaventure to take his game to another level.
The player in question is Nick Pierson (5-10, 170, 4.5). Pierson has had to toil in the larger than life shadow of five star athlete prospect Whitney Lewis.

That being said, on any other team Pierson would have been the man. Still he had an outstanding senior season latching onto 59 passes for 997 yards and 12 touchdowns. Not bad production for a guy that has to share the rock with Lewis.
Pierson is a versatile football player who also plays some defensive back in spot duty and was the starting nickel back on passing downs.
“If we played our guys both ways,” Saint Bonaventure head coach John Mack said. “Nick would have been a two-way starter for us.”
Idaho is in the process of setting up a trip with Pierson this weekend. Other schools that are showing interest in Pierson are Montana, Montana State, Cal State-Sacramento and Adams State.
Pierson has good bloodlines; his brother is USC starting fullback Chad Pierson.
