Sleeper TE waking up Pac 10

One of the best kept secrets in the Golden State is about to be let out of the bag as Asante-Jabari Cleveland (6-5, 230, 4.75) from Sacramento (Calif.) Brothers Christian name is now very much on the map as the talented tight end/defensive end has landed his first two offers and there is every indication there could be more in the very near future.
Somewhere between 20 and 30 colleges came by Christian Brothers this spring during the evaluation period and he picked up offers from Nevada and Washington State.

Besides Washington State and Nevada, Cleveland is also interested in Cal, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and Washington.
"It was good getting my first two offers," Cleveland said. "Nevada's offer came during spring break, roughly April 6th and Washington State's came at the beginning of May. I really liked getting an offer from Washington State because I always wanted to play in the Pac 10."
Cleveland plans on attending two team camps this month and hopes win scholarship offers.
"Cal wants me to their camp because they want to see me up close," Cleveland said. "I hope they offer me there. I will be attending Cal's camp on June 7th.
"I will be going to Oregon State's camp on June 13th," Cleveland said. "I may get another offer from Oregon State then. Oregon State's coaches really like me, especially their tight ends coach. That's it for camps so far."
What is Cleveland looking for in a college?
"I hope to major in business management," Cleveland said. "Washington State has a good business management program. I also want to attend a school where I will have a chance for early playing time."
As a junior, Cleveland earned all-league honors after hauling in 21 receptions for 262 yards and four touchdowns.
While playing spot duty as a defensive end, Cleveland had two sacks and one deflected pass.
Cleveland is a player you need to keep your eye on as the recruiting season progresses.
