Sleeper Spotlight: 2017 CB Jaylon Jones

Name: CB Jaylon Jones Dacula, Ga. (2017)

Recruiting Wrap: Jones recently added his first offer, courtesy of Sun Belt school Georgia State.

Performance: Jones is off to an excellent start to his junior season, showing the ability to cover while flashing a knack for making plays on the ball. In addition to his coverage skills, Jones also made several tackles, both against the run and when coming over to help his fellow defensive backs.

My Thoughts: Despite being listed at 5-foot-10 and 168 pounds, Jones is very physical and isn't afraid to come up and make a hit. His size may be a deterent when it comes to some major programs, but assuming Jones can continue demonstrate could speed both on film and in person, he should find himself with several more FBS options.
