Garner (N.C.) running back Demetrius Fairley took an official visit to UCLA over the weekend and he was blown away.

"It was my first time on a plane and it was my first time out that way. There were nice people and it was a nice atmosphere. There are a lot of similarities to what it's like on the east coast. I feel like if I come out here I could really help the team.
"One of the most outstanding things about the trip was the coaches they've got. The coaching staff is really sincere. I really like the team, too, so it was good to get to know them better."
UCLA won't wait long before letting Fairley know where he stands.
"I'm getting a phone call from them on Tuesday," he said.
So far Western Michigan and some smaller local schools have offered Fairley.
If the Bruins offer Fairley would jump on board.
"If they offer I'm probably going to commit," he laughed.
