Sleeper RB getting looks
Quite a few players are getting noticed at Hoboken, N.J. including a tailback, Desmond Bates. The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder has received interest from the Big East among others.
"I've been getting letters from Pittsburgh, Temple, Connecticut and a few others," he said. "My favorite college is Michigan. I've always liked them and grown up watching them. I watched the championship game with Charles Woodson."

What does Bates want in a college?
"I'm not totally sure," he said. "I want a good hardworking team with dedicated players who work hard."
Last season Bates ran for nearly 800-yards and 12 touchdowns.
"I did alright," he said. "I learned the plays a lot more and knew the offense. It helped getting to work with my teammates more.
"I still want to improve on making cuts and reading holes."
