Sleeper RB gets offer

The Inland Empire is loaded with D-I talent for the class of 2006. Rivals.com has found another player flying below the radar for most recruiting but he is picking up steam with D-I colleges and he's picked up his first offer.
The player in question is running back/linebacker Courtney Randall (5-11, 215, 4.5) from Rialto (Calif.) Eisenhower.

"Courtney is our premier running back and I think he's going to end being one of the best running backs in Southern California this season," Eisenhower coach Julius McChristian said. "He has the size and he's as tough as they come."
"You can't arm tackle Courtney," McChristian said. "It takes a host of defensive players to take him down."
Randall is a hard worker who is always refining his game. He's already a terrific runner and blocker so he has been working softening up his hands and become the complete back.
"Not only is Courtney a great runner, but he will take it to you as a blocker," McChristian said. "He's one of the best that we had here."
"Courtney puts linebackers on their backs and hustles down field to spring guys with another block," McChristian said. "He's a team first guy who helped a senior rush for 1,800 yards with his blocking."
Randall rushed for approximately 1,600 yards and was an all-area selection as a junior.
Randall currently benches 305, squats 500, cleans 230 and has recorded a 30-inch vertical jump.
The gridiron isn't the field that Randall shines on, he is also an outstanding student.
"Courtney carries a 3.5 GPA and he has taken AP courses," McChristian said. "He just a great all-around kid."
Randall has an offer from Colorado State and he's also getting serious recruiting attention from Stanford.
Colorado, Oregon State, San Jose State, Boise State, and Fresno State are also showing Randall attention.
Look for other Eisenhower athletes to be reported on this site in the very near future.
For the uninitiated Eisenhower has a long history for developing D-I football players. The current head coach Julius McChristian is one of them and he is dedicated in seeing Eisenhower once again be one of SoCal's top teams.
