Sleeper RB closing in on area points record

There is a sleeper from a small Christian school who is closing in on the Inland Valley total points record. This player has been flying underneath most D-I school’s radar but one major school is looking at this athletic running back now much to the chagrin of Big Sky schools.
Running back Drew Robinson (5-10, 185, 4.4) from Ontario (Calif.) Christian is closing in on the Inland Valley’s total points record held by former San Jose State Spartan great Deonce Whitaker.

Whitaker was a standout for Claremont high before he took his talent to the Spartans.
Robinson is a double threat out of the backfield who has rushed for 1,875 yards and 27 touchdowns. As a receiver out of the backfield, Robinson has 18 receptions for 560 yards and 12 receiving scores.
Whitaker’s record stands at 250 total points while Robinson has 238 points going into his team’s semi-final appearance against Bishop (Calif.) Union this Saturday evening.
Because Robinson plays for a small school some schools may have missed out on Robinson but Big Sky schools like Northern Arizona, Idaho State and Portland State have been recruiting Robinson hard.
There is another school that came by Christian high school last week to take a peak at Robinson and that is Stanford.
Stanford is one of those schools that has to really scour the country for talent because of how hard it is to get into Stanford.
Robinson is a player who will be worth watching over the next week or so to see if he breaks the record and to see what happens to his recruitment.
