Sleeper QB lands offer No. 2

Quarterback Jeff Tuel (6-2, 190, 4.63) from Clovis (Calif.) Clovis West is making up for lost time when entered the recruiting season as one of the Golden State's biggest sleeper prospects after sitting behind Cal bound, Beau Sweeney.
After recently picking up his first offer earlier in the month, on Tuesday, he picked up his second offer proving hard work, talent and being proactive about your recruitment can get the job done even for a quarterback that has seen limited action as a starter.

Washington State was first out of the box with an offer and now Tuel has another option.
"I just received my second offer from Nevada," Tuel said. "It feels great. I have been down to Nevada for a couple of camps and it feels good."
"I was not tempted to commit just yet because, I'm going to visit Washington State next week," Tuel said. "I haven't met the Washington State coaches or seen their facilities."
"After my visit I will sit down with my family and weigh my options," Tuel said. "We will see how it goes."
"I would like to make my decision before my senior season starts so there is a good chance I'll make my college choice after I talk to my parents at the conclusion of my visit to Washington State ," Tuel said. "I want to know where I'll be going before the season and not play the recruiting game during my senior season."
"I want my focus to be on my team."
The scouting report on Tuel is he's a tremendous athlete with a very high ceiling. He is the kind of quarterback who is very much in vogue these days. He can make plays with his arm and his feet. He is also very smart and makes good decisions. Obviously his best days as a football player are ahead of him.
