Sleeper QB has skills

Every year there are players who will come onto the recruiting scene somewhat lightly regarded and flying under the radar because the player wasn't playing at his true position. These players are usually very athletic and their coach wants to find a way to the player on the field.
Once such player is quarterback/defensive end David Coleman (6-3, 190, 4.6) from Palmdale, Calif.

"David started as a defensive end for us last year because we had a college bound quarterback, Rodney Trim playing ahead of him," Palmdale coach Jeff Williams said. "He probably would have started at quarterback if he would have attended any other school in our area."
"David reminds me of Minnesota Viking quarterback Duante Culpepper," Williams said. "He has huge hands and if grows into his size 15 shoes, he's going to be a specimen."
"David runs the spread offense," Williams said. "With that offense so popular on the D-I level, that is going to help his recruitment."
"Once colleges see what David has to offer as a quarterback," Williams said. "He will see college interest in him increase."
"David throws a nice ball and can makes plays with his feet," Williams said. "He has the right tools to run the spread offense."
The good thing about Coleman is brings versatility to the table. He's young and still has some growing to. He's very athletic and could end up at another position if quarterback doesn't work out.
Coleman
One to watch as the season progresses.
Cal, Oregon, UNLV and San Diego State are said to be interested in Coleman.
