Sleeper QB has a canon

When you play for Sacramento (Calif.) Grant it is easy to get overshadowed by the amazing talents of Syd’Quan Thompson (5-9, 178, 4.4). Add that to the fact that you sat out your junior season due to your transfer rules makes it tougher still. That’s what happened to quarterback Bobby Bunfill (6-3, 185, 4.45).
Bunfill was lost in the shuffle because he played at Sacramento (Calif.) Jesuit and because of the before mentioned transfer rule he had to sit his junior season.

In five games, Bunfill is making up for lost time. According to Bunfill he has thrown for approximately 900 yards while hitting on 66% of his passes and a quarterback rating 128. He also thrown for seven touchdowns.
“I don’t run much but have over 100 yards rushing and average close to 10 yards per carry,” Bunfill said. “When you have a player like Syd (Thompson) on your team you want him to run the ball.”
“I’m about winning and will do whatever it takes to help my team win,” Bunfill said. “I have a pretty strong arm and the film I’m going to send you shows me throw it 75 yards in the air.”
Though Bunfill is flying under the radar for many schools he is getting attention from Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, Arizona State, Wyoming and San Diego State.
“I am really interested in San Diego State and Hawai’i,” Bunfill said. “I haven’t heard from Hawai’i so I am going to contact them myself.”
