Sleeper QB gaining major interest

Pennsylvania is known for producing some of the top quarterbacks year in and year out. 2008 is no different as quite a few players are making a name for themselves already including Terrelle Pryor. Of course there are some sleepers too including 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback Kevin Morton out of Abington, Pa.
"I've been in contact with Boston College, Maryland, Delaware, Temple, Vanderbilt and Syracuse mostly," he said. "I've been getting a lot of letters, but I haven't visited anywhere yet.

"I do plan on going to the Nike Camp at Penn State on May 12th as well as the Elite 11 regional qualifier there. I'll probably go to Temple sometime soon too."
While he's hearing from the SEC, Big East and ACC, Morton would like more contact from the Big Ten.
"I've always liked the rivalry between Penn State and Michigan," he stated. "That rivalry between the older coaches and teams is great. I like what Chad Henne is doing at Michigan as for Penn State, my dad and uncles are big fans of them."
Of course quite a few factors will be important in Morton's decision.
"I want to go to a successful football program," he said. "I also want to get a good academic experience and of course be able to play for the school.
"Location may play a bit of a factor. I wouldn't want to go out to California since there are so many big-time schools closer."
On his way to all-area and second team all-league honors, Morton posted 1,700 yards passing, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions as a junior.
