Sleeper OT is starting to get noticed

Recruiting is beginning to pick up for an all-state lineman in Delaware. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder has colleges across the region taking a long hard look.
"He's a big lineman that is kind of slip with great feet, some of the better feet I've seen especially as an offensive tackle," Wilmington (Dela.) St. Mark's head coach John Wilson said of offensive tackle Jake Quinn. "His first two steps are just as good as anybody's. One of his strengths is pass blocking. He does an excellent job of setting his feet. He is not able to get bull rushed off the edge."

A starter since his sophomore year, Wilson went on about Quinn.
"He's not afraid to get low. He has great upside, but only weighs 245-pounds," he said. "He's going to have to pack on some weight. I would say he could easily put on 15 to 20-pounds. I know most colleges want their linemen at 295-pounds though. With his, it's reasonable he'll get up to 270."
If that doesn't pan out, Quinn has a chance to play defense too.
"He's good on the defensive side of the ball," he said. "He's got a motor and doesn't quit. He's pretty tenacious and has an attitude out there."
Colleges are taking notice.
"He's starting to get some interest," he said. "One thing that was hurting him was with our academic regiment he was not qualifying, but those things are passed. He will need to take summer school, but is now qualified.
"Some schools showing interest including Rutgers, Old Dominion, Penn State, West Virginia, Maryland and Temple. Most of them want to see him at camp."
