Klein offensive lineman Matt Tomlinson has gone from rags to riches over the past few months on the recruiting front.
Tomlinson (6-5, 270-pounds) parlayed his good play and the exposure from playing with national recruit J.B. Shugarts to four official offers.

"I'm just going with it right now," he said of his recruitment. "I'm a little surprised, but it's a great opportunity for me. I plan on taking visits to all of the schools and then making a decision. I'm pretty open right now."
Tomlinson received his first offer from UTEP in the summer and has visited the campus. He took in Rice University last weekend and their bowl-clinching win against SMU, where he was offered. He will be visiting Indiana University one of the next few weekends and Louisiana Tech over the next month.
"I'm looking for a good combination of academics, atmosphere and opportunity," he said. "I like Rice, but I want to check out the other schools also. I'm going to try and commit as soon as I can, but right now I'm open."
