Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North offensive tackle Mike Switzer has made Ball State his destination next year over his only other offer from Bowling Green.
"I committed the week leading up to December 3rd," Switzer said.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Switzer of Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North high school has grown fond of the Cardinals since participating in their camp back in the summer.
"Ball State offered me this summer back in June and I have grown a really good relationship with coach (Eddie) Faulkner my recruiting coordinator and I like the offensive line coach too," Switzer said. "I like the campus and it's close to home."
What was it that really stood out to Switzer about Ball State?
"After the official visit, I met the whole team and I liked all those guys," Switzer said. "I know they're going to be up and coming soon. They finished up the year real strong and I think they'll continue to improve and I just want to be a part of that."
Switzer hopes to be a part of winning as soon as possible and the Ball State coaching staff just might give him the opportunity of playing right away.
"They said there's a chance," Switzer said. "It just depends on how I do during camp."
