Sleeper OL has offers

There is an offensive lineman who is really seeing a Bull Run market on his stock since he began his senior season last September 2002.
This player is one of the main reasons that his high school team has turned the corner and has earned a place in the very tough SS-CIF playoffs.

Our mystery guest is offensive lineman Preston Clover (6-6, 270, 5.0) from Laguna Hills, Calif.
Clover has everything the D-I schools look for in an offensive lineman. He has great size, quickness and immense growth potential.
Clover is also an outstanding athlete for a big man. He plays goalie on the soccer team.
On the gridiron, Clover is a good straight ahead blocker and because of his goalie experience possesses good hands. He is also very intelligent who calls all the blocking for the line.
Clover could end up playing center on the next level.
Another thing to like about Clover is his outstanding work ethic on and off the field. He’s a perfect 4.0 student in the classroom and he works extremely hard in the weight room. Clover squats 470 pounds, benches 300 and cleans 270.
Clover has offers from Stanford, Washington State, Oregon, Colorado State and San Jose State. He is getting recruiting action from USC, UCLA, Nebraska and Syracuse just to name a few.
The early favorite is this recruiting race is the Stanford Cardinal. The Cardinal staff is doing a nice job on the recruiting trail even though their on-field performance has been shaky thus far this season.
Stanford head coach Buddy Teevens is known as a good recruiter and he has a staff of great recruiters. The Cardinal is proving it with this effort.
