Sleeper LB takes first trip

Fahokee, Fla. Keyonvis Bouie is a sleeper waking up plenty of college coaches in December. With offers from some big-time programs, Bouie started his official visit tour this week.
"I went up to Boston College this weekend and had a good time," said the 6-foot-0, 225-pounder. "They're recruiting me the hardest. Coach (Bob) Shoop came down last week and will be back this week. They really seem to want me more than anyone else."

Bouie was hosted by Florida native Myran Hunter on his visit and said he didn't mind the cold.
"It wasn't as bad as everyone said it would be," he laughed. "I also liked the snow. BC has a good program and the academics are top-notch as well."
Bouie has his next official visit set for Dec. 20, but hasn't decided whether it will be to North Carolina or Indiana. Wake Forest has also offered and he said that Georgia and Tennessee have both told him they want him at their schools as well.
"I'll be leaving the state it looks like," he said. "I don't have a favorite right now. I need to take a few more trips so I'll decide around late January."
Bouie had his second 100-tackle season this year and has had more than 250 in the last two seasons.
