Sleeper LB rates Rutgers visit

Linebacker Andres Morales out of Bethlehem (Pa.) Liberty took his first official visit of the season last weekend to Rutgers. What did the 6-foot-2, 245-pounder think of the Scarlet Knights?
"It was a pretty good visit," he said. "I was very impressed with their academic presentation. I also liked the campus tour and the alumni they have there. Rutgers has a lot of tradition and it's a really nice college. Probably the thing that caught my eye most was the facilities. The weight room there is huge and the players are really cool to be around.

"I was hosted on the trip by freshman safety Courtney Greene. He was a really cool guy and he was willing to take care of anything I needed. He talked to me about the coaches and how hard they make the players work."
On Sunday, Morales and his parents met with head coach Greg Schiano.
"We met with him right before I left," he said. "The meeting went real well and he's a cool guy. He's very enthusiastic about the program and really talked with me about the alumni. It was a lot of good stuff."
Despite the good visit, the two-star prospect rated his trip a seven.
"What brought it down was the fact that it was finals weekend so everyone was studying," he said. "Otherwise the rest of the weekend was fine and I'd say I'm down to them and North Carolina State."
Morales still has his official visit to Raleigh scheduled for January 13th.
"On my visit there I really want to see how good the academics are there," he said. "I also hope to see how the head coach responds to his players and me. I really like North Carolina State because their facilities are top of the line and it's a nice warm environment."
