Sleeper LB Having Good Summer

Danvers (Ma.) St. John’s Prep is home to three D1A prospects this recruiting year. And while offensive tackle Jonathan Loyte and linebacker Nick Borseti get most of the press, linebacker Jonathan Goff had the most impressive summer.
“I camped at Boston College and I enjoyed it,” said Goff, who was one of the more impressive players at the camp. “I thought I did well.”

Goff, a 6-foot-2, 215-pounder who played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back as a junior, is being recruited as a linebacker. He has an offer already from Wisconsin and is being recruited heavily by Stanford, Vanderbilt, BC, Dartmouth and Harvard.
“I’ve visited Stanford already and it was really nice,” he said. “I’m going to Vanderbilt soon and I’m going to see Wisconsin later this summer. I also need to see Dartmouth.”
Goff is in no hurry to make a decision and will likely wait to see which schools offer him before setting any official visits.
