Sleeper LB Has Impressive Offers
Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor linebacker Marvin Mitchell might be overshadowed by Ahmad Brooks and Kai Parham when it comes to Virginia linebackers, but he has some pretty good offers for himself.
“I have offers from Maryland, West Virginia and Boston College,” said the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder with 4.6-second speed. “I’m also pretty sure that Tennessee will offer soon as well.”

Mitchell visited Maryland this past weekend and enjoyed it there.
“I liked the facilities and coaches,” he said. “It was nice there.”
Mitchell has visits scheduled with West Virginia (Jan. 11), Tennessee (Jan. 18) and Boston College (Jan. 25) before he decides.
“I don’t have a favorite,” he said. “I’ll decide after my trips.”
