Junior to Watch: Marshall Woods
School: Appomattox, Va.

Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Woods is 6-foot-1, weighs 215 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He bench presses 245 pounds and squats 485.
Statistics: Woods made 119 solo tackles as a junior and assisted on 53 others.
Honors: All-district, all-area, all-region.
Favorite Schools: Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina, East Carolina, Boston College, Liberty.
Skinny: Woods is a sleeper in Virginia who could gain a lot of notice if he can lower his 40-yard dash time. One of the most productive linebackers in the state, Woods was a third-team all-state selection last year behind players like Ahmad Brooks, Kai Parham and Justin London.
“I’m going to camp at Virginia and Virginia Tech,” he said. “Those are my two favorites. If Virginia Tech offered me, I’d probably commit.”
Woods expects to decide on a school after his senior season.
