Sleeper getting notice

Perhaps one of the best all-around athletes that no one really knows about is Adrian Aye-Darko (6-2, 185, 4.5) from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade. Chaminade has been one of the surprise teams in SS CIF Division III and Aye-Darko is one of the reasons.
Aye-Darko and his Chaminade teammates stand at 5-2, a far cry from a year ago when they were the league doormat.

Like Aye-Darko’s more publicized teammate, Marcus Everett, Aye Darko is being recruited for his skills in two sports.
Since September 1st Aye-Darko has received phone calls from UC-Davis and UCSD. UCLA and Washington State have written.
As a basketball player, Aye-Darko is being recruited by Air Force, Bucknell and Cornell.
Aye-Darko is a standout on both sides of the ball. As a wide receiver, he has 31 receptions for 500 yards and four touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball Aye-Darko has three picks. “I’m not sure of how many tackles I have,” Aye-Darko said.
As a wide receiver, Aye-Darko has good speed, runs good routes and is very physical.
As a corner he has the size, athleticism and aggressiveness to play with the larger wide receivers that every team seems to have these days.
Before the recruiting season is done Aye-Darko could end up being one of the biggest sleepers of the season.
The word on Aye-Darko is just getting out.
