Sleeper gets ACC offer

Sleeper prospect wide receiver Adrian Aye-Darko (6-2, 190, 4.5) from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade has a tremendous season in 2003. Aye-Darko could be one of those guys that receive a huge bump for his services late in the recruiting season.
Aye-Darko received a verbal offer from Duke this week when a Duke assistant coach was on the West Hills campus this week.

“I was given a verbal offer by Duke,” Aye-Darko said. “I’m not going to get too excited until I see the offer in writing.”
Aye-Darko is very intelligent on both the gridiron and the classroom. He carries a 3.5 GPA and scored a 1250 SAT.d
Harvard was also on campus this week and Aye-Darko is going visit Harvard on January 9th.
Aye-Darko has somewhat of quandary facing him on January 16th. Duke and UC-Davis both want him to visit that day.
It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
Aye-Darko is also a pretty good hoopster who is being recruited in that sport as well.
Lafayette and Bucknell are showing a lot of love for Aye-Darko’s basketball skills as a one or two.
On the gridiron, Aye Darko had 57 receptions for 1,069 yards and nine touchdowns with an average of 18.8 per catch for a very surprising Chaminade team in 2003.
