Sleeper Georgia TE has Big Ten offer

McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian tight end Alec Huber may be a name that you have never heard of, until now. However, with a scholarship offer from Big Ten country that is all likely to change.
“I got my first offer from Northwestern,” Huber said. “Georgia Tech and Tulane are also schools that have been recruiting me, they have both called. I have heard some from Duke and Vanderbilt as well.”

Huber attended the NIKE camp in Atlanta where he measured in at 6-foot-4, 214 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds.
“I would say that my top two schools right now are Northwestern and Georgia Tech,” Huber said. “I am also considering Duke, Vanderbilt and Tulane. I went to the Georgia Tech-Samford game earlier this year and last week I went to the Northwestern-Kansas game.”
So far this season he approximately has 300 yards and 150 yards on kickoff returns.
“Academics are a big part of my decision,” Huber said. “I am just looking for the right place with good coaches and good people to be around. At first I wanted to decide before the season started, but now I think I might just wait until the season is over. Being close to home would be a plus, but it is not really that big of a factor in my decision.”
