Sleeper DL catching looks

Another player from Las Vegas (Nev.) Shadow Ridge to keep your eye on is defensive end/offensive lineman Anthony Lewis (6-1, 270, 5.0). Lewis is another reason why D-I schools came by the Shadow Ridge campus this past spring and will be showing up at Shadow Ridge games this fall.
Lewis was an all-conference selection as a junior due to his very quick feet and good strength. He is known as a smart football player with a high football IQ.

The hard working Lewis currently benches 340, squats 500, cleans a very impressive 300 and has recorded a vertical of 27-inches.
Lewis has a lot of heart and character. He is considered one Shadow Ridge's team leaders. He is another one of the guys that comes to play when the whistle blows game in and game out.
Cal, Arizona State, Oregon State, Utah, Colorado State, Colorado, Georgia Tech and Boise State have all shown recruiting interest Lewis.
"The first thing that I'm looking for in a school is the coaching staff," Lewis said. "I think I'm very compatible with most coaches, but if the coaches are more likable that could make me lean more toward that school."
"I would like to play for a program where the student body has a lot of pride in the program," Lewis said. "I'm also looking for a school that has a nice college atmosphere."
Lewis is also a good student who has already predicted with his 3.3 GPA and 1000 SAT old test.
