Sleeper Decides

One of the biggest sleepers of the season was without doubt running back Clinton Polk (6-3, 195, 4.4) from Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista. He came out of nowhere to become a three star. Once you see Polk his talent can’t be denied. The young man has decided what school he will go to.
Polk had offers from Nebraska and Oregon State. Beaver head coach Dennis Erickson is the coach who received the good news. Polk will attend Oregon State.

Polk was selected all-region (1st-team) running back/kick returner and all-state (HM) running back as a senior. The amazing thing about Polk’s honors is he didn’t even start.
Polk rushed for 876 yards and 12 touchdowns on only 55 carries. His performance opened up eyes from schools coast-to-coast.
Rivals saw him on tape and his running style is reminiscent of former SMU and Los Angeles Ram great Eric Dickerson.
Dennis Erickson and the Oregon State Beavers are going to end up looking very good with Polk.
