Sleeper DE with eight offers

Tim Jackson is a defensive end from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Gibbs High School. Jackson, 6-5 and 218, recorded 42 tackles and eight sacks last year as a junior.
"I have good quickness off the ball and speed off the edge," Jackson said. "I have really worked hard on my technique this off-season and it has improved."

According to Jackson, Stanford, Kentucky, Northwestern, Tulane, Indiana, Georgia Southern, Auburn, and FIU have all offered.
"Kentucky was first to offer. They offered back in January. That was great getting that first under the belt. Notre Dame, Purdue, Ole Miss, Florida and UCF, and USF are all recruiting hard but haven't offered me yet."
So is there a leader or a group of teams that lead the way right now for this sleeper defensive end from the Tampa Bay area?
"I am wide open right now and just trying to get through spring. I hope to have a top five this summer. I am looking at the coaching staffs, defensive scheme and tradition. I want to go to a prestigious school with a rich tradition. Academics are big to me as well."
Jackson carries a 3.7 grade point average and has scored a 1120 on the SAT. He has unofficially visited Florida and USF.
