Sleeper DE takes New Mexico trip
Things have been quiet on the recruiting front for Cypress (Texas) Fair defensive end Matt Lamb but things could be picking up soon.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Lamb took his first official visit this past weekend to New Mexico and should find out soon if an offer is coming with only weeks before Signing Day.

"It's going alright," Lamb said about his recruitment. "New Mexico is going to talk with me later on this week. So far, they're the favorite right now. I just liked the area out there and I liked the coaches that I've talked to more."
"They just want to talk to my parents and me about it later on."
Kansas, Memphis, North Texas, and Wyoming are also showing interest.
"If I get the offer from New Mexico, I'll probably go ahead and commit," he said.
