Sleeper DB hoping for SEC offers

Newnan, Ga., defensive back Renaldo Warner has flown somewhat under the radar this recruiting season, but he has picked up one Division I offer and his interest is on the rise.
“I still have offers from Jacksonville State and Ball State,” Warner said. “Arkansas and Clemson are two schools that are recruiting me pretty hard, but neither one has offered me yet.”

Warner, 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds at a Georgia camp this summer. He also camped at Clemson. He has a 345-pound bench press max and a 430-pound squat max. He has a vertical leap of 35 inches.
Last season, Warner racked up 113 tackles, 2 interceptions and 2 sacks for 12-2, class 5A Newnan.
“I’d really like to take all of my visit before I make a decision, but as of right now I don’t have any set up yet,” Warner said.
