Sleeper DB Has Plenty Of Interest

Victor Nichols made First-Team All District this season with 55 tackles, five interceptions and 10 pass deflections. That hasn’t brought any offers yet, but a lot of teams are certainly showing enough interest.
“I’m considering schools in the ACC and SEC because it’s close to home and the competition is the best,” said the 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety from Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange. “I like LSU, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Ole Miss and a few others.”

Nichols hopes to set up his visits soon, but hasn’t narrowed down his choices yet.
“I’m still trying to decide where I want to go,” he said. “I also want to play in the Florida-Georgia All-Star game.”
The first school to offer Nichols will likely have the advantage. He can also play wideout in college with his 34-inch vertical leap and 4.5-second speed in the 40-yard dash.
