Sleeper CB in St. Petersburg

Johnny Roundtree is a prospect to watch this fall from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Gibbs High School. Roundtree, 5-10 and 175 pounds, is a ball-hawking safety that recorded five interceptions last season as a junior.
"I have quick feet, can flip my hips well and have the ball skills to play cornerback," Roundtree said. "I am smooth out there."

So far Kansas, Auburn, Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern and Indiana have shown him the most interest. They are just waiting on him to make the proper test score.
"They are waiting on his grades," said Gibbs Head Coach Yusuf Shakir. "The bottom line is that this kid is just a great football player. I can honestly say that he can play everywhere in the secondary."
