Sleeper ATH picking up offers

Largo, Fla. athlete Dexter McCluster was name that Rivals.com told you to look out for back in late February and now he's picked up several offers and poised for a big senior season.
"I have offers from Rutgers, Idaho, Western Kentucky and Akron," McCluster said. "I am getting a lot of interest from Florida and South Florida. South Florida has been sending handwritten letters and I get a lot of stuff from them all the time."

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound McCluster runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, has a 275-pound bench press and 315-pound squat.
"Right now Rutgers is probably my top school," McCluster said. "I really like them a lot. South Florida is also a really good school and they would have to be high up on my list as well as Florida.
I want to take some visits before I make a decision, but when I know it is right then I will go ahead and commit. I really want to take my visits and stuff like that, so I will probably schedule an official visit to Rutgers here pretty soon."
McCluster is a versatile athlete who could play cornerback, running back or slot receiver on the next level.
"Most schools recruiting me are recruiting me as a cornerback," McCluster said. "South Florida and Akron are recruiting me as running back though. I really don't have too much of a preference I just want the chance to get on the field."
McCluster is a sleeper who could move up the rankings with a strong senior season.
"I want to play for a good coaching staff," McCluster said. "I want to go to a place where I can learn, so I want to make sure that it has good academic programs. Distance from home is not a factor, but I want to go to a school that has a good atmosphere."
