THE LATEST

As the quarterback dominoes start to fall around the country, coaches are out on the road evaluate new options at the position. That has meant a steady stream of visitors through Rogers, Ark. as plenty of FBS schools want to check out Class of 2020 prospect Hunter Loyd, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound signal-caller who has been flying under the recruiting radar for the better part of his career. Loyd has picked up offers from Arkansas State and Louisiana-Monroe over the past two months, and more could be on the way. Rivals.com caught up with Loyd to get the latest on his recruitment.

IN HIS WORDS

"A lot of coaches have been coming by my school, probably three or four a day. I've also been getting a bunch of letters. Recently Memphis, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe, Arkansas and Princeton came by. There were others, too, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head. I know North Texas is coming next week and FIU and couple more, too."

On interest from Arkansas: "Coach Chavis and Coach Morris have come by. I think I have a chance to get an offer from them. I need to go to camp and show what I can do. That offer would mean a lot. It's 10 miles from home so it'd be nice."
