Sleeper anxious to get going

Wide receiver Mose Denton (6-1, 175, 4.56) from Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair is counting the days until he can once again resume his athletic career.
Rivals.com first caught a glance at Denton when he had a standout performance and more than held his own with highly recruited players at the NIKE Camp held in Los Angeles last May.

Since then Denton participated at the NFL Camp, the adidas camp held in Westwood and Cal's full contact camp where he won MVP for wide receivers. At every camp he participated in, Denton was impressive.
There is a good reason a player as talented as Denton is a sleeper. He had to sit out all of last year due to CIF transfer rules.
Now all of that is behind him and he is raring to go.
"I can't wait for September 1st," Denton said. "It is only 25 days away until I get to play football again."
Though Denton has been off the field for a year his camp performances have helped get his name in front of college coaches.
Cal told Denton that they are going to keep an eye on him and watch him closely in the early part of the season.
The story is the same for many other schools.
Other schools playing the waiting game are Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Fresno State, Nevada, Colorado State, San Diego State and Wyoming.
"I'm just happy to get the attention that I'm getting already from colleges," Denton said. "I'm just grateful to hopefully get the opportunity to play college football and get a college education.
"My main goal is for Mayfair to have a successful season. If we do all things will fall into place."
With a strong senior season Denton could quickly rise up the ranks and become a highly sought after prospect.
