Slack picking up more offers
Akron (Ohio) Hoban tight end Brian Slack is an interesting prospect that has a good combination of size, speed and play-making ability. Along with an early offer from Miami of Ohio, he's added new offers to his list.
"I got offered from Toledo offer, Ohio U, and Eastern Michigan," he said. "I am taking a visit to all of them this summer. Out of those three schools I am interested in Toledo the most. I just talked to Toledo's O-line coach the other day and they came to my school."

He's also getting some good Big Ten interest. He recently took a visit to East Lansing to visit with Michigan State, and he liked what he saw.
"Michigan State is my top school," he said. "It was a real impressive place. There was a lot to like about them."
Ohio State is also showing some interest and a strong camp performance this past week sure didn't hurt.
"If they offered me, they would be my top school," he said. "I haven't actually spoken to anyone from Ohio State yet, but I'm hoping they liked what they saw."
Slack is working on getting even better for his senior season.
"I have been getting bigger (6-foot-5, 225)," he said. "I put on 15 pounds this summer, and I grew about half an inch. I want to try and get a little bit bigger by the end of the summer."
