Skyline corner looks to follow suit

Head coach John Beam’s Oakland (Calif.) Skyline program has been one of the best at turning out D-I talent in Northern California. There is a defensive back at Skyline who looks like he will follow suit and receive a D-I scholarship. The player in question is Brandon Sanders.
Sanders is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound cornerback/wide receiver who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds. Though he’s a standout on both sides of the ball, Sanders will more than likely line up at corner when he gets to college.

Sanders was a starter as a sophomore on a team that sent five players to the D-I level and was selected all-state. He is considered somewhat as a sleeper because a shoulder injury kept him out of action as a junior.

The bloodlines are there as his father played at Cal, but the word is the younger Sanders is faster at the same stage.
An injury free senior season will see the talented Mr. Sanders’ stock soar…
One more before you go:
Another player to watch from Skyline this season is running back Yonus Davis. Davis stands 5-foot-9, weighs 170, and runs a 4.4 40-yard dash. He is known as player with tremendous moves. “Younus can sit in a phone booth with a defender and still not get touched,” Skyline head coach John Beam said about his slippery running back…
