Skov gets a look as a fullback

Lawrenceville Prep in New Jersey is home to Patrick Skov, a sleeper linebacker prospect that has quietly been receiving a good bit of interest from colleges all across the country of late.
While the 6-foot-1, 241-pound prospect is best known as a linebacker, a couple of schools are thinking about recruiting him to play a position that is often overlooked.

"Cal and Ohio Stare are looking at me for fullback," Skov said.
Of course, the other schools that have been in contact with him like him as a linebacker. Vanderbilt, Virginia and Northwestern have had varying degrees of contact with him in recent weeks as well.
"I think they really all like my tape," he explained. "That's what they said, of course. I think they'll make a decision on offering in the next couple of weeks, especially after their seasons end this weekend.
"I don't have any favorites specifically. I'm just looking for a good academic situation. I don't think I have any favorites yet."
Skov took unofficial visits to Vanderbilt and Virginia much earlier in the recruiting process. He said he will try to set up some official visits for December and January.
Lawrenceville Prep finished the season 7-2 and won their league championship, which was a big improvement from previous seasons. Skov is still waiting for his first scholarship offer to come in.
