Sizzling Alex Morrow sets trips

Alex Morrow (6-6, 260, 4.71) from Rohnert Park (Calif.) Rancho Cotate has seen his stock make a steady rise since this past summer and there are no indications that it will slow down. Quite the contrary there is even more sizzle regarding Morrow’s talent as he is one of the most sought after defensive end prospects on the west coast.
Morrow and his Rancho Cotate teammates are off to a fast start as they currently stand at 5-0 heading into league play.

Morrow has dominated as a senior from his defense end spot and special teams. He has fought through double teams all season long to claim 25 tackles, six sacks, four blocked punts and a blocked field goal. Remember folks these stats are only for five games.
Morrow has offers by the four schools he will visit. Morrow has good taste in games to watch because he will be in audience for two of the Pac10 most intense and heated rivalries on two of his official visits.
Morrow will visit Oregon (November 15th) the weekend of the Washington game. Fans from both teams have an intense distaste for one another. He will follow that visit with a trip to Arizona (November 29th) for the ASU game. Fans of these two schools can’t even say hi to one another without getting in an argument.
In December Morrow will visit schools in a calmer atmosphere when he will travel to USC on December 6th and Washington on December 13th. Both schools will be hoping that they are preparing for Bowl games.
The last and final visit Morrow is waiting to give to UCLA, but the Bruins haven’t offered a scholarship or a visit yet. “UCLA called just the other day but I wasn’t home.”
“All five schools are on equal footing and are even until I take my trips,” Morrow said.
What does Morrow like about his top five schools?
Oregon – “I like the quality of the coaching and the football team,” Morrow said. “The team gets a lot of publicity.”
Arizona – “I like the school and I think the program is on the rise,” Morrow said. “They have made some nice upgrades to their facilities.”
USC – “You can get a quality education at USC,” Morrow said. “I like Pete Carroll a lot. The Trojans are doing pretty well. They have the number one defense and I like that.”
Washington – “Rick Neuhiesel is a really good guy,” Morrow said. “I like the location and believe it or not, I like the weather, I like the rain. Washington (the university) is in a beautiful location.”
UCLA – “I love the location,” Morrow said. “I lived in L.A. for a year and I loved it. UCLA was my childhood favorite team. Once I started to get recruited I had to put all of that behind me. I couldn’t choose a team because I liked them as a kid or because I like their uniforms or even how good the team is.”
