Six stand out to Calloway

Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee four-star defensive tackle Derrick Calloway continues to add offers. The 6-foot-1, 310-pound defensive lineman shared some of the more recent ones.
"Ole Miss, Arkansas, Arizona, and Ohio State," Calloway said. "That is all I can think of off the top of my head."

Earlier offers for Calloway included Iowa State, Miami, South Florida, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCF, USC, and West Virginia.
The rising senior has taken just two visits so far this year.
"I have only been to two junior days," Calloway said. "I have been to Miami and USF's."
He talked about each of those visits a bit more in-depth.
"I learned that they are big in the medical field," Calloway said of USF. "I learned a lot about their educational skills. I also got to see how the football players live as far as living arrangements and stuff like that. I got to talk with the coaches and we talked about a lot of things. I was up there with (Manatee) defensive end Blake Keller and we just got a chance to talk with the coaches one-on-one."
"I liked it and my mom liked it," Calloway said of Miami. "She liked the smaller classes. She likes how it isn't that big. She also likes that the players get a lot of attention in class in order to make better grades. I liked their business school, because that is what I want to go into."
As for upcoming visits, Calloway has a few destinations in mind.
"I might go to visit Florida State because I have a friend up there but they haven't been real serious with me," Calloway said. "I also want to get to Texas A&M and Texas Tech. I was planning to see them but I don't know how that is going to work out."
At this stage of the process, the Sunshine State prospect says a few schools stand out.
"I have like a top six," Calloway said. "I really don't have a school that leads right now. My top six are USC, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Arkansas, and Miami. All of them have offered. They aren't in any kind of order."
A final decision isn't likely until the latter part of this year.
"I want to try and commit maybe around the middle of the season or towards the end of the season," Calloway said.
As a junior, Calloway finished with 55 tackles and 13 sacks.
