Six stand out for Ross

The offers continue to roll in for Compton (Calif.) Dominguez defensive back David Ross. The talented cornerback is now well over double digits and has six schools at the top of his list.
At 6-1.5, 170 pounds, Ross is one of the taller corners you'll find nationally. Despite that size, Ross still has very quick feet and excellent cover skills. He plays for a program that puts him on an Island as the Dons play 90% man to man defense and Ross was only beaten once for a touchdown last season.

"David is a great player, one of the best defensive backs in the country," Dominguez DB coach Martin French said. "He has great size and speed and when he has his head on right, no one can compete with him."
Michigan and Colorado were the latest schools to offer Ross joining a list that includes, among others, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Washington State, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Utah.
"I'm still pretty open but I have about six schools I'm really looking at," Ross said. "I like USC, Oregon, Mississippi, Miami, Texas and Michigan. USC, Miami and Texas haven't offered me but they're recruiting me pretty hard. I'm going to camp with USC this summer and that's about the only camp plans I have right now. I want to take all my trips before I make my decision and I'm really not in any hurry to commit right now."
