Josh Moten is just finishing his sophomore season but already has seven offers. Maryland, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Baylor, Wake Forest, Memphis, and East Carolina are coming after the Fort Washington (Md.) National Christian Academy cornerback but his recruitment is just beginning.
IN HIS OWN WORDS...
"The offers from Baylor and Maryland really caught my attention," Moten said. "Baylor is always on TV and Maryland is like my home school.
"I know Tino Ellis, DJ Turner, Lorenzo Harrison, and all those guys over at Maryland," he said. "I’ve been up to Maryland on a recruiting visit to watch games, talk to the coaches, and see the campus. When I first met coach Aazaar he told me some things to work on like my eyes, my speed, and I need to get stronger. I like the atmosphere at Maryland. I like to see the defensive backs jumping around and listening to music before the game."
RIVALS' REACTION...
Moten is still just getting onto the scene but he will be a well-known prospect before all is said and done. He has good size and length for a young defensive back and moves well in the open field. Moten's impressive sophomore campaign will attract many more colleges over the coming months.
